Please take care of the building and do not go up if it is full.<\/strong><\/p>\n<\/div>

A picnic area is available for you to enjoy a meal.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Since we won’t be there to guide you, please follow these basic guidelines:<\/em><\/p>\n

\u25b8 Book your stay in advance. Please note that the refuge is often fully booked, and spots in the dormitories are assigned via text message or posted directly on the refuge door.
\n\u25b8 Clear snow from the main entrance and the dining room\u2019s emergency exit, as well as the water stations.
\n\u25b8 Heat the dining room at the end of the day. A wood stove is used to heat the room; wood is available in the woodpile.
\nThe refuge is not a lodge and is not intended to be heated all day long. The supply of firewood on site is intended to accommodate hikers from October through June (no restocking during the winter!!)<\/em>
\u25b8 This is a self-managed site, so please respect the premises and other hikers by leaving the area as clean as you found it when you arrived\u2014or even better! \ud83d\ude09
\u25b8 You may also use a portable stove and dishes to prepare your meals, as well as a sink for washing up.<\/p>\n<\/div>

PLEASE NOTE: In winter, the refuge is staffed from January through mid-April, weather and snow conditions permitting.<\/strong><\/p>\n

For specific requests regarding half-board when the refuge is unstaffed, please contact us directly using the form.<\/p>\n

We hike up regularly (once or twice a week) to maintain the refuge and update the booking list.<\/p>\n

Restrooms are available outside the shelter. There are no bathrooms or showers in operation during the winter. The water source is marked outside, a few meters from the shelter. <\/p>\n

You cannot charge your phone here. Please note that there is little or no cell service at the shelter. <\/p>\n

We provide two blankets for sleeping. Be sure to bring a sleeping bag, as the nights are very cool. Dormitory temperatures range from 0 to 5\u00b0C, and there is no heating in the dormitories. Hot water bottles are available upon request. <\/p>\n

We\u2019re here to heat the building, prepare meals, keep you updated on weather and snow conditions, and help you plan your routes.

You are in a mountain environment with potentially avalanche-prone areas. You are responsible for your own safety.
