A shepherd on the Plan Pichu mountain pasture for 15 years and a dog handler on the slopes of La Plagne in the winter, Xavier will welcome you with a hearty bowl of polenta, a pair of binoculars trained on a marmot or a ibex, and always a good joke up his sleeve.
Sandrine
Originally from Savoy, Sandrine trained in food quality control and worked in the industry for over 20 years. Passionate about the mountains, she decided to change careers and become a mountain hut warden. Always smiling, Sandrine offers a warm and personalized welcome.
Pierre
A ski patroller and first-aider in La Plagne, originally from the Hautes-Alpes, Pierre has fallen in love with the village and the people of Granier; he’s putting down roots…and taking us on a culinary journey through his specialties…
Valérie
A native of Granier in the Savoie region, she is a top-level ski mountaineer and a trained snow scientist who loves sharing her passion for the mountains. She’s a great source of advice on route choices, cooks up delicious meals, and runs the lodge year-round.
