Looking for more information on how to get to the Refuge de la Coire? Whether you’re on a multi-day trek or a day hike, or arriving by car for a relaxing break, finding us is easy—just a few turns from the Cormet d’Arèches!
Access times vary depending on the chosen parking lot and road conditions (snow cover)
▸ Winter: access via Prachanié and Arêches side parking: Le Mappaz (depending on snow conditions)

Access from Beaufortain
Head towards Arêches Beaufort, then the Saint-Guérin dam and the Cormet d’Arêches
Access from Tarentaise
Via the Tarentaise valley: follow signs for Moûtiers, then Aime, and finally the Versant du Soleil and the village of Granier. You can then take the road leading to the refuge by following signs for Laval and the Cormet d’Arêches

Be sure to check snow and weather conditions in advance, adjust your route accordingly, and ensure you have the proper equipment (skis, snowshoes, avalanche transceiver, shovel, probe, technical clothing, water and food supplies, etc.).
