The Coire refuge agrees to provide lodging and meal services to customers who purchase these services. Article 2: RATES
The prices listed on the website are per person and for the selected date. The visitor’s tax is included in the listed price. The prices listed include all taxes. Children’s rates apply based on the defined age groups.
Article 3: BOOKINGS AND DEPOSITS
When you log in to the booking site, you make a reservation directly with the refuge, which uses a real-time booking system that is updated instantly. As soon as you confirm your booking by paying the deposit (via Stripe), you will receive an email confirming your booking request. You will then receive a confirmation email once your booking is registered. You can print the booking confirmation that you will receive via email.
Article 4: PAYMENT TERMS
The deposit must be paid by credit card through the booking website. The remaining balance must be paid on site in cash or by check.
Article 5: BOOKING GUARANTEE
Your booking is guaranteed once the deposit has been credited to the refuge’s account.
Article 6: CHANGES TO BOOKINGS
Any changes to your booking must be requested directly from the refuge via email at bonjour@refugedelacoire.fr.
This request for a change will not take effect until the refuge has confirmed its approval.
Article 7: CANCELLATION POLICY
Any cancellation or change to your booking must be requested directly from the refuge via email: bonjour@refugedelacoire.fr.
Cancellation Policy: Deposits are non-refundable but may be applied toward a future booking. In the event of a “no-show,” if the guest does not contact us by 6:00 PM on the scheduled booking date (by phone or email), the booking is canceled and the refuge may resell the room. Furthermore, the refuge reserves the right to charge the full amount for the reserved service.
Article 8: COMMITMENT
By making a booking on the website, you agree that your booking is subject to these terms and conditions. By accepting the terms and conditions during the booking process, you are bound by them, and your acceptance cannot be revoked.
Article 9: DISCLAIMER
All written or verbal information provided by the guide or his employees (e.g., regarding trail conditions, avalanche conditions, weather conditions, route selection, etc.) is given with the utmost care, in good faith, and based on experience. However, the host cannot guarantee this information. All decisions regarding the trip, the route, etc., are your responsibility. The host assumes no liability for damages of any kind that may arise from the guest’s use of this information.
Article 10: DISPUTES – CONSUMER MEDIATION
In the event of a dispute between the Customer and the business, the parties shall endeavor to resolve it amicably (the Customer shall submit a written complaint to the business or, if applicable, to the business’s Customer Service Department). If no amicable agreement is reached or if the business fails to respond within a reasonable period of one (1) month, the Customer, as a consumer within the meaning of Article L.133-4 of the Consumer Code, may, if a disagreement persists, refer the matter free of charge to the competent mediator listed on the roster of mediators established by the Commission for the Evaluation and Control of Consumer Mediation pursuant to Article L.615-1 of the Consumer Code, namely:
